As result the formatter will be less-hardwired, extensible (!), more flexible, it will allow even more asynchronous mail rendering and some more cool stuff (and hopefully it won't break anything). As part of it, I converted some formatter-related plugins to modules. We'll review it tomorrow with Milan and hopefully it will
