GtkSourceView releases are available from the GNOME FTP server.
Older versions
Some applications still require GtkSourceView 1.x or 2.x, older stable versions of GtkSourceView. You can have the run-time and development environments for GtkSourceView 1.x, 2.x and 3.x installed simultaneously on your computer.
Style schemes
A style scheme defines which visual style GtkSourceView must assign to each syntactic element (e.g. keywords, strings, numbers, etc.).
