Software on the Latest GNOME LiveCD

Besides the latest and greatest version of GNOME, including the GNOME web browser, file manager, menu system, and utilities, there are lots of other GNOME-related goodies on the LiveCD. Some highlights:

• Abiword and Gnumeric: the highlights of the GNOME Office Suite- fast, easy-to-use, and compatible with both open and proprietary document standards.
• OpenOffice.org and Firefox: Big, popular tool suites that integrate with GNOME as their Linux desktop of choice.
• Gimp and Inkscape: The best drawing tools for Linux, both GNOME-based.
• Tomboy, Muine, and F-Spot: Note-taking, music, and photo applications showing off the 'easy to use' philosophy of GNOME, and based on the up-and-coming Mono platform.
• Sabayon: A new GNOME management tool, combining GNOME's powerful management framework with an easy-to-use policy editor.
