You've got lots of data. Some of it you want to share with the world, some of it you don't. How do you stop a snooper from reading your files while you're away from the desk? Lock your folder.

Locking your folder is as simple as right-clicking.
Right click a folder. Lock it with your password. It's done. Your data is encrypted and securely stored.
Right click that folder. Unlock it. Hey presto! Your data is unlocked and ready for you to start working with it, right away, no questions asked.
Locked Folders uses the Blowfish algorithm, used in over 150 commercial cryptography applications. Locked Folders is fast, light and snappy, designed to keep well out of your way.
Locked Folders is currently undergoing development and is getting merged into GNOME. Watch this space!
